Custom Website

The custom website as designed by a business women

Google has indicated that there are almost 1.4 billion websites listed on their search engine.

Every industry is therefore likely to be represented and new or outdated websites may have trouble competing for a good ranking.

Not all is lost in website marketing and creation

1.4 billion websites may seem like a lot of competition. Even so, there are numerous creative activities that a business owner can do to ensure their website is front and centre within a given industry. As you could imagine some industries are overpopulated with websites, all competing for a ranking.

Whether you operate locally, nationally or worldwide there are a lot of things a business can do to become and remain relevant. Thus, providing answers for the users who are all potential customers. Websites may be a form of marketing and an important one at that. Even so, they are simply just another part of the marketing sales funnel.

Updating or a new website

You may look at your current website and think if I just update it then ”they will come”. If it was that easy then everyone would update their website regularly. The answer is that a website should be updated daily or at least weekly to ensure it continues to provide a great user experience.

Whether  it’s a facebook or twitter feed or creation of creative content for a blog. They are all important aspects of remaining relevant. One key activity most businesses can do is to make great videos which ultimately answer your clients questions. When Google sees you doing this they will potentially see you as an expert in your field with authority and trustworthiness. This is called E.A.T. in the SEO industry.

One of the reasons we are mentioning these factors in this website page. I because a website is not something that you set and forget. It’s a business tool that can be the difference between failure and success.

Creative and custom websites – the harsh reality

If you would like to set and forget, then at least give the website a chance by having it managed by someone else. This isn’t ideal, as you know your business better than anyone else, but it’s probably better than doing nothing at all.

If you’re willing to help create and continue to develop your online presence the possibilities are endless. Our team works closely with clients to fully understand the business and to help create a masterpiece. Ultimately,  developing the client’s ability to take over 70% to 90% of the management, once the website is live.

Planning for a website can make it look a whole lot more professional

Conducting the planning process for a custom website

A custom website requires the developer/designer to integrate and establish a positive relationship with a business. In the initial stages generally we will spend up to a full day meeting and understanding the people and goals of the business.

Your online presence is what we are passionate about and working together must be the result we are all looking to achieve.

Key online infrastructure

We don’t compromise on anything. Many websites used shared hosting which can potentially cause major problems. All of our projects recommend the use of either a managed VPS or dedicated server. Larger companies may already have this type of infrastructure which is great. Those that haven’t would be provided access to one through our Sydney based centre.

We generally work with WordPress which holds approx 56% of the content management system (CMS) market. We fully understand the code and functioning behind wordpress and can manipulate resources to achieve great results. Whether plugins or manipulating metadata the options are endless with WordPress websites.
